Galaxy Princess Zorana casts the player as a pampered second-born princess thrust into a succession crisis: her mother is dead, her brother has turned traitor, and her father has vanished. To claim the throne, Zorana must win the Imperial Election. Set in the universe of Long Live The Queen, the game frames that struggle as a strategic life simulation shaped by court intrigue and danger.
Each turn, players choose skills for Zorana to study, from etiquette and swordfighting to lock-picking and spaceflight. Those priorities affect how she can respond to events, and inadequate preparation can make a decision backfire. Political maneuvering adds another layer: players travel across the Empire to court Electors, seek their favor through promises, quests, cabinet appointments or marriage, and navigate alliances whose interests may conflict. The game combines skill development and branching choices with a strategic map and factional politics.
The single-player format puts the emphasis on an individual campaign of consequential decisions rather than competition with other players. With many skills and branching paths, Zorana’s character and the Empire’s future depend on the player’s choices, while success is not guaranteed: she may lose the election or fail to survive.
