First Class Trouble is a party game set aboard the luxurious intergalactic cruise ship ISS Alithea, where a disaster puts human Residents and rebellious Personoids on opposing paths. Residents aim to shut down the ship’s Central Artificial Intelligence Network, CAIN, while Personoids seek control of the vessel. That shared crisis creates the game’s central tension: players must cooperate to survive, yet question whether their apparent allies are working against them.
Information gathering and argument are as important as action. Residents collect clues about passengers, try to identify suspected Personoids, and work together before attempting to shut down CAIN. Personoids, meanwhile, can lie, disrupt and deceive their way through the ship. Proximity-based voice chat, text chat and an emote wheel support those shifting social exchanges. Physical interactions and environmental hazards add a mischievous edge: players can use dangers such as fires, bad wiring and poorly hanging chandeliers to eliminate others.
The ship’s themed levels offer distinct items and interactions, while an onboard mall lets players spend Infinity Coins on clothes and accessories.
