Feign is a role-based social deduction game set in a town where players must read one another as carefully as they use their abilities. Each player is an Innocent, Impostor, or Neutral, and those roles shape competing goals: gather information and identify threats, eliminate rivals, or pursue a separate agenda while avoiding suspicion. The shifting alliances and concealed motives give the village its central tension.
Play alternates between mysterious nights and morning votes. Players use role abilities during the night, then discuss events and vote to remove someone. Neutral roles add an unusual wrinkle because their objectives can put them in opposition to either side. The game also describes a drawing mode for four to eight players: everyone sketches from a category and secret word except the Impostor, who draws without knowing the word; afterward, the group debates and votes on who was bluffing.
The village format is designed around deduction, discussion, and social deception, while the drawing mode turns those instincts into a creative guessing contest. Customizable characters and unlockable costumes add a personal touch without changing the core premise of hidden roles and suspicion.
