FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves is SNK’s return to its long-running fighting series, following GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES as its most recent installment for many years. Its setting, South Town, provides the backdrop for both competitive bouts and a solo journey, giving the game more to offer than a sequence of head-to-head matches.
The new REV System adds aggressive options from the opening of a fight. Players can use REV Arts, REV Accel and, while S.P.G. is active, REV Blows, but pushing those tools too far overheats the REV Meter. Two control styles shape how players approach that combat: Arcade Style relies on technical inputs, while Smart Style enables special moves and combos through directional inputs and single-button presses.
For a different pace, Episodes of South Town is a single-player RPG adventure built around fights with varied conditions. Victories earn XP and other rewards, which players can use to level up a fighter and develop a kit of skills.
