F1® Manager 2023 casts the player as a Formula 1 team principal, responsible for guiding one of the championship’s ten teams. Its strategy-simulation premise reaches beyond race-day calls: players oversee operations from the factory and garage to the grid, with decisions about drivers, staff and car development shaping how a season unfolds.
The game pairs detailed team management with broadcast-style race presentation across practice, qualifying and races. During competition, Driver Tactics let players direct how their drivers approach battles, while car development calls for balancing performance gains against the need to replace less durable parts. Scouting simulated F2 and F3 championships offers a route to finding emerging talent as older drivers regress with age.
Race Replay adds a different way to engage with the 2023 championship: Starting Grid recreates race conditions and driver positions using real-world data, while Race Moments places the player in charge of a team at a pivotal point in a real race.
