Everwind combines first-person role-playing with sandbox survival, making a flying ship both a base and the center of exploration. Rather than returning to a fixed home, players can carry their built environment through a procedurally generated world. The ship can be expanded with walls, workstations, gardens, and towers, giving construction a practical role in each journey.
Exploration mixes resource gathering and crafting with combat, looting, and dungeon delving. The world features distinct biomes and enemies, hand-crafted points of interest, and procedurally generated dungeons; destructible environments also let players reshape their surroundings. Combat draws on weapons including daggers, bows, swords, shields, magical staves, and enchanted books, while alchemy offers another way to support companions. These systems give the game a blend of building, traversal, and action rather than a single-purpose survival loop.
Everwind supports solo play as well as online co-op, with up to four friends sharing one ship. The ship’s roles can be divided among steering, building, brewing potions, and defense, tying cooperation directly to the game’s mobile-base premise.
