Etherium is a science-fiction real-time strategy game built around conflict among three factions competing for a rare resource. Its central challenge is not simply assembling forces: players must manage resources, develop a base and adapt their plans as changing weather affects the battlefield. Infantry, tanks, aircraft and enormous war colossi give commanders a varied military roster, while each faction brings distinct strengths, units and tactical skills.
The single-player Conquest mode turns expansion into a longer strategic project, asking players to develop technology and extend colonies across distant sectors of space. The campaign also makes decisions part of its structure. On individual planets, a commander can pursue different routes to victory, from striking an opposing mothership from the surface to rapidly crushing its colonies. Weather control, climate shifts and other faction abilities add further layers to decisions about when and where to attack.
Etherium also offers multiplayer battles, including team play and deathmatches for up to four players. Across both, resource management, faction identity and the changing conditions of each planet define the game’s tactical character.
