Etheria: Restart casts the player as a Hyperlinker in a virtual world where humanity has stored its consciousness to survive a global freeze. The crisis shifts from preservation to defense when the Genesis Virus corrupts the Animus, beings who wield Anima Powers. That setup gives the game’s battles a clear role in its larger conflict: protecting human survival and uncovering the dangers within Etheria.
Combat is turn-based and built around team composition, ability synergy and tactical commands. Players can freely control each Animus in battle, combine skills, and shape characters through Prowess progression, Shell equipment and Ether Modules. The game pairs those choices with a futuristic-city setting and fully rendered real-time scenes, giving its encounters a cinematic presentation alongside their strategic layer.
The broader play format spans solo and cooperative PvE, including the Main Quest, Threshold, GP Outposts, Investigations and boss fights, as well as online PvP in the Arena.
