ERA ONE frames survival as an act of construction. In a future shaped by depleted resources, conflict and a collapsing political order, Alya De Shars seeks a power source to launch a secret ship and begin again. That personal quest sits within a broader story of humanity’s effort to find a future beyond its old worlds, giving the game’s engineering focus a human stake.
The central design links a customizable space base to the needs of a growing civilization. Players assemble a stronghold from modules, manage materials, energy and workforce, and develop production, shipbuilding and defenses. Research brings further technologies for construction, extraction and protection. The base can grow into a mobile city, while ships are also assembled from modular parts, with systems and components suited to roles such as exploration, combat or trading. These connected layers make expansion a matter of planning and adaptation, not simply adding structures.
Its blend of simulation, strategy and action places the emphasis on designing a stronghold and vessels while contending with threats in a fractured science-fiction setting. A custom soundtrack is also described as accompanying the story.
