Epic Auto Towers casts tower defense as a single-player strategy run built around preparing for monster assaults. Its mix of autobattler, deckbuilder and roguelike elements centers on assembling a force from the Towers available to buy, then testing that setup in an automatic fight. The result is a game of planning between battles rather than direct control during them.
Each turn, players purchase Towers from a changing store and place them on a field with limited space. Position and combinations matter: a Cat Tower benefits from being placed beside a Milk Tower, while merging Towers of the same type creates taller versions with improved stats and stronger abilities. Towers destroyed in battle return fully restored next round with their bonuses intact, and upgrades persist. Players also weigh economy against defense, since some Towers generate gold, while Relics, random store offerings, and varied Tower abilities add further choices. Pressing “End Turn” starts the battle against monsters and bosses.
Its appeal rests on adapting to the Towers offered and finding effective synergies, with random generation intended to make runs differ from one another.
