Enclave frames its medieval combat around a world split between opposing powers. The people of Light and Darkness are divided by a deep rift: the Enclave stands for truth and order, while the surrounding Outlands are described as twisted and barren. As the gap begins to close, the game sets up an impending struggle for survival rather than a tale of uncomplicated heroism.
Its structure gives that conflict two perspectives through separate, story-driven single-player campaigns, one for Light and one for Dark. Across more than twenty-five fantasy-themed missions, players can choose from twelve character classes, with combat action and five end bosses among the documented features. Secret bonus games add another element to a design whose central draw is the campaign journey through a divided world.
Its missions, opposing campaigns, class selection and boss encounters describe the experience more clearly than a live-player figure alone can.
