Dwarfs F2P puts players in charge of an underground dwarf colony, with the goal of making it rich before disaster strikes. The overseer must guide the dwarfs toward valuable cave deposits while keeping them away from hazards that could destroy the Town Hall and its beer supply. The colony members explore, mine and fight on their own, so the challenge is to steer their work without letting their reckless digging put everyone at risk.
Its arcade-style play is built around randomly generated caves, which make each run different. Arcade mode offers several difficulty levels and time limits ranging from a short session to endless play. Other formats change the pressure: Base Defense has dwarfs dig the routes before waves of monsters arrive, while Rush challenges players to manage rapid spawning and uncontrolled excavation. Dark Mode limits visibility to the tunnels the dwarfs have dug, and Sandbox lets players create caves of their own.
The free-to-play edition offers the core Arcade mode, tutorials and challenge modes at no charge, with additional modes available for individual purchase or as a complete pack.
