Dunjungle is an action roguelite starring a monkey hero in a jungle threatened by a corruptive force. Its dungeons change from run to run, drawing on seven biomes and rooms that combine hand-crafted layouts with procedural generation. Temples, crypts, strange creatures, traps, treasure and bosses give each expedition a different mix of hazards and discoveries.
Combat and character builds revolve around a broad assortment of weapons, subweapons, spells and relics. Equipment can be combined with elemental effects, letting players burn enemies, slow them with ice, shock them with thunder or push them back with wind. Classes add another layer of choice: select one before a run, with each class’s strengths and weaknesses shaping how it plays. Finding allies and unlocking equipment can also carry progress forward.
Runs have a deliberately unforgiving structure: there are no checkpoints, and death sends the hero back to the start. Some discoveries persist, including new gear and rescued characters who may help in later attempts, while knowledge gained from a failed run can inform the next one.
