Dungeonborne sends adventurers into Clouseau Castle’s dangerous corridors and the stacked labyrinth of Sinner’s End in search of valuable artifacts. The expedition has a clear risk-and-reward shape: players must overcome monstrous guardians and lead their party to safety before the dungeon becomes a tomb. Its environments also emphasize verticality, framing the journey as more than a straightforward crawl through enclosed rooms.
Combat combines first-person immediacy with fantasy class roles, including Fighter, Priest, Rogue, Swordmaster, Pyromancer, Cryomancer, Death Knight, and Druid. Players can disrupt enemy formations with skills, support allies with buffs, and use tactical throwables; duels add parries, blocks, and ripostes. More than ten weapon pairings and equipment with over eighty affixes give builds room to develop, while an auction house supports item trading and the pursuit of distinctive gear.
The game’s format spans party-based dungeon runs, online cooperative play, and PvP, with a separate Arena mode for competitive fights that do not put earned gear at risk. Its class choices, build customization, and contrasting expedition and Arena formats define the experience described here.
