Dub Together turns familiar video scenes into group voice-acting sessions. Players record new dialogue through their own microphones, then watch the performances over the original picture. Its central appeal is the contrast between a recognizable scene and the unexpected interpretations a group creates together.
The game offers two distinct formats. In Parallel Mode, everyone records a separate take on the same clip, watches the versions in turn and votes for a favourite. Character Mode instead assigns performers to roles, building one shared dub through a collective recording session; roles without a player retain their original voices. Recordings can be redone while the round timer is running, and each line can use a selectable voice effect. Finished dubs can be saved as videos.
Beyond the included clips, the Pack Creator lets players prepare their own video rounds, while Steam Workshop supports sharing and subscribing to community packs. Twitch integration also lets a streamer's chat vote on performances, extending the game's group-showcase design to viewers.
