DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS turns the series’ power imbalance into an online asymmetrical action game. One player takes the Raider, a familiar threat such as Cell, Frieza, or Buu, while seven ordinary citizens try to survive and escape a trapped temporal seam. The Raider’s goal is to stop every Survivor from getting away, making each match a contest between pursuit and cooperation.
Survivors can use items and skills including Solar Flare and Instant Transmission, and may temporarily borrow a Super Warrior’s power to fight back. Collecting seven Dragon Balls lets the team summon Shenron for a power-up. Meanwhile, Raiders grow stronger by attacking Civilians and Survivors: evolution improves their skills and Super Attacks, bringing the match toward a dangerous final form. Those opposing roles give the game its distinctive rhythm, as teamwork and opportunistic escapes meet escalating force.
The game is designed mainly around online matches between players. Survivor and Raider customization, including skills and skins, adds personal choices within that framework.
