Dota Underlords sets its auto-battler in White Spire, a city thrown into a power struggle after the death of its respected ruler, Momma Eeb. Players recruit heroes and upgrade them into stronger versions, then build a crew whose alliances can unlock bonuses. The game puts strategic choices ahead of quick reflexes, while each of its four Underlords brings distinct perks and abilities as a leader on the battlefield.
Its match formats suit different approaches: Standard offers a strategic game, Knockout is designed to be quick, and Duos lets a friend join a co-op match. Beyond those online options, City Crawl frames the city’s takeover as a campaign of puzzle challenges, street-fights, and in-game challenges. Offline play adds AI opponents across four difficulty levels, with games that can be paused and resumed.
Crossplay connects players across platforms, and the shared profile allows a match started on PC to be finished on mobile, or the reverse. Ranked matchmaking gives competitive play a progression through ranks, while private lobbies can host matches with spectators. Together, the tactical team-building, varied match formats, and White Spire’s story give Dota Underlords its distinctive shape.
