Dominion turns the growth of a kingdom into a contest of deck construction. Players begin with a modest collection of Estates and Coppers, then seek Victory Points by building a stronger deck, ideally stocked with Gold, Provinces, and useful kingdom cards. Its central tension is choosing among the ten cards in the tableau: each purchase shapes the deck and can contribute to combinations that outplay an opponent.
The strategy comes from making those choices work together rather than simply collecting powerful cards. With a broad card pool and many possible Kingdom combinations, the officially licensed digital edition carries the tabletop game’s deck-building focus into automated play, including scorekeeping, hints, and a tutorial. For solo practice, players can face an AI with four difficulty levels; the game also offers Recommended Sets and a Daily Dominion puzzle.
Dominion supports online matches in real-time or asynchronously, with ranked and unranked matchmaking, private tables, and lobby games. Pass-and-play offers a local alternative, while cross-platform multiplayer lets players join opponents on other platforms.
