DOKAPON! Sword of Fury blends a board-game journey with RPG progression, then gives its players a shared financial target: finish with the most assets. The road to riches runs through a sprawling world of monster fights, equipment purchases and leveling, but cooperation is only one possible approach. Alliances and betrayal sit side by side, giving the adventure its deliberately unruly social edge.
Movement begins with a wheel spin, while battles use a simple rock-paper-scissors-style choice: players select among four attack types and try to anticipate the opponent’s defense. A wrong read can turn a powerful strike against the attacker, so confrontations hinge on prediction as well as character growth. The remaster keeps the original pixel-art option alongside refreshed illustrations and 3D models, and offers adjustable speed and game settings.
The format supports up to four players locally and also includes online multiplayer, making this a party-focused contest rather than a purely solo RPG.
