Docked casts the player as an operator helping rebuild Port Wake after a devastating hurricane. Its campaign frames port work as a sequence of contracts: build resources, meet cargo commitments and repair equipment as wear accumulates. Rather than treating the harbor as scenery, the game makes restoring its operations the central premise.
The work relies on a varied fleet, including ship-to-shore and rubber-tired gantry cranes, terminal tractors, reach stackers and straddle carriers. Each machine is designed around realistic handling, scale and physics. Players move cargo between ship, yard and rail, while careful rope adjustments reposition materials and weight distribution on flatbed trucks. Tight spaces leave little margin for error, making vehicle control and cargo placement central to each task.
Docked offers a structured Campaign as well as Free Play, where players can unload ships and trains without mission constraints. The cargo-plan tablet organizes contract choices in the campaign, while Free Play allows changes to weather and time of day.
