Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster revisits the first game in the zombie-action series with a full graphical overhaul. Freelance journalist Frank West enters a quarantined shopping mall in Willamette, Colorado, hoping to uncover the truth behind the outbreak. With help expected in 72 hours, the story’s urgent setup gives the game a defined survival window amid a sprawling crisis.
The mall is more than a backdrop: its everyday objects become potential tools for staying alive. Frank can fight with familiar weapons such as guns and baseball bats, or improvise with household items, while also rescuing survivors and changing clothes. Zombies are not the only danger; the game also puts hostile human psychopaths in Frank’s path, creating a mix of scavenging, combat and rescue within the same setting.
This remaster retains the original gameplay while updating its presentation and usability with renewed character and environment graphics, revamped controls, an improved interface, auto-saves and full voice acting.
