Dawson Oaks Trailer Park is a multiplayer game of hidden roles and uneasy cooperation set around a trailer park. Its suspects must carry out role-specific urges to stay sane while concealing their behavior. That creates a built-in tension: waiting makes them more unstable, but acting too openly gives others clues to expose them.
The game’s roles include a Supervisor, who watches for suspicious activity and can call the police, and a Snitch, who blends in with the suspects while secretly reporting to the Supervisor. Suspects can also call meetings, gather together, and vote on who they believe the Snitch is. A mistaken vote leaves the Snitch hidden; a correct one lets the suspects take control. With eleven distinct suspect roles, the premise hinges on reading other players as well as managing each character’s urges.
The combination of competing aims and collective meetings gives each player a reason to watch, mislead, and judge the others.
