Dashy Square is an action game built around moving through levels in time with music. Its controls are deliberately simple: the store describes one-click play, while the central actions are dashing, jumping and flying. That low barrier sits alongside a tougher mastery curve, making timing and repeated attempts central to its appeal.
The game offers twenty regular levels, including six endless stages, and a Practice Mode for working through the challenge. Power-ups support multiple gameplay vehicles, while characters and customization provide ways to alter the look of a run. Trophies, secret keys, achievements and leaderboards add goals beyond simply reaching the end of a stage.
Music is a defining part of the design, with more than 300 soundtracks associated with over 50 artists. Players can also create and share custom levels; the store lists a level editor among the features, though marks it as coming soon.
