Cursed to Golf sends a golfer to Golf Purgatory after a freak accident interrupts a tournament-winning shot. Redemption means taking on a sequence of golf courses and trying to return to the living, with a trophy still waiting in the story’s background. The setup lends familiar golf a supernatural, dungeon-like frame rather than treating each hole as a calm trip across an ordinary course.
Its central pressure is the PAR Count: fail to finish a hole within that limit, and the curse sends you back to the beginning of the course. Hazards include high-powered fans, spikes, TNT and teleporters, so route and shot choices matter alongside accuracy. Birdie-Eye reveals the whole course, while Shot Idols restore shots when struck. Ace Cards add another layer of tactical flexibility, with effects such as Scattershot, U-Turn, Rocketball and Mulligans among more than 20 options.
The game is single-player, built around courses in four biomes that are randomly ordered, with more than 70 holes and online leaderboards also listed. Its identity rests on managing a limited shot budget through unruly courses, then using the tools available to keep a run alive.
