Crushed is a first-person survival sandbox set in an open world, where players face harsh conditions and gather what they need to endure. Its premise combines wilderness exploration with practical self-sufficiency: find resources, prepare food, and make a place to live, either alone or alongside friends.
Survival depends on more than finding supplies. Health, stamina, thirst, and hunger are tracked, while tools and weapons wear down through use. Players can craft equipment and building materials, construct and furnish a house, hunt animals, and grow grains on farms. Ore gathering adds another production chain: mine ore, smelt it into ingots, then use those ingots to make items. Food can be hunted, grown, and cooked, but it also expires unless kept in a refrigerator. A day-and-night cycle and atmospheric changes shape the world’s passage of time.
In either case, Crushed’s design centers on managing basic needs and building up supplies and shelter, rather than on a match-based format.
