Hamidashi Creative is a school-life visual novel built around an unlikely change in fortune. Tomohiro Izumi, a self-described introvert content with a quiet corner of his classroom, is abruptly selected as student council president by a lottery. The sudden attention brings rumors and forces him to seek allies, turning an ordinary end-of-June day into a scramble to assemble a council.
That search has an unusual complication: the suggested candidates, including classmate Kano, underclassman Asumi and Tomohiro’s younger sister Hiyori, are not even on campus. The former president, Shio, then appears despite being someone nobody could reach. These intersecting absences and arrivals shape the premise, with Tomohiro’s improbable luck setting the story’s chain of disruptions in motion.
Rather than presenting its school setting as a routine election drama, the game hinges on a randomly chosen leader who has little appetite for the spotlight and a council that must be gathered under awkward circumstances. Its central contrast is between Tomohiro’s reserved nature and the public role thrust upon him, while the shifting availability of potential allies supplies the setup for the story’s comic chaos.
