Cosmoteer: Starship Architect & Commander makes ship construction the heart of its spacefaring strategy. You shape each vessel and lay out its floor plan, placing modules such as weapons, engines, hallways, and crew quarters. Those choices matter once fighting starts: the design affects a ship’s performance, so building is not just a visual exercise but part of preparing for battle.
In real-time tactical combat, battles are physics-driven, and individual modules can be targeted and destroyed. Cripple an opponent’s weapons, break its shields, or attack its reactor; damage can leave ships split into pieces. Your crew also has practical duties, piloting vessels, operating weapons, and carrying munitions. Crew members act autonomously, with optional roles and job priorities for players who want to customize their behavior.
The game supports several different ways to use those ships. A solo or online co-op journey combines battles against AI ships, faction contracts, loot, upgrades, and exploration of a procedurally generated galaxy; separate PvP modes let players test designs and command against one another. Creative Mode offers unlimited resources for unrestricted building.
