Corruption Town follows Agnes after an orc invasion forces her to flee to Grimsburg, a city cut off from the outside world. There she meets Otto, an old acquaintance who owns the Limping Duck inn, and takes a job that brings her into contact with the city’s disreputable patrons. The central tension is personal: Agnes can resist the lust surrounding her or succumb to it, with the story framing that outcome as the player’s choice.
The inn is the game’s main workplace and a key setting for its corruption system. Players can try to avoid the men who frequent the Limping Duck or give in to their requests, while a dynamic corruption mechanic shapes the experience. Progression is explicitly nonlinear, allowing players to choose what they want to do rather than follow a single stated route. The premise and systems connect Agnes’s daily work to the story’s conflict over her agency and purity.
Listed as a single-player RPG, simulation, and strategy game, Corruption Town is designed around an individual player’s decisions rather than a shared multiplayer session.
