Coromon follows a new Battle Researcher for Lux Solis whose assignment to investigate Velua’s six Titans turns dangerous after an attack on a laboratory. The adventure spans six distinct biomes, from fields and a haunted swamp to frozen mountains and ancient ruins. Along the way, players can meet locals, take on side quests and minigames, and uncover clues about the attackers’ plans.
Its battles hinge on squad-building and resource management rather than raw power alone. Skills, Traits, held items, entry hazards, weather, and status effects all shape encounters, while each Skill spends stamina: exhaust a Coromon and it must rest, leaving an opening for its opponent. Players can hunt for rare Potent and Perfect Coromon, distribute their bonus stat points, and choose whether to evolve a creature or strengthen its Trait. Customizable difficulty and randomizer settings also let players adjust the challenge and vary elements such as encounters, abilities, and Titan order.
The main journey is only one part of Coromon’s play format: after the story, the Battle Dome offers endless Coromon Rush, Trainer Rush, and Titan Rush challenges. The game also supports ranked, casual, and custom battles against other players in 3v3 and 6v6 formats, giving its single-player exploration a separate competitive counterpart.
