Cooking Simulator 2: Better Together puts players in charge of a restaurant, where cooking is only one part of earning a good reputation. Services also involve preparing ingredients, organizing workstations, managing supplies, keeping orders moving, and meeting guests’ differing preferences. The result is a kitchen-management game in which the food and the flow of the shift both matter.
Its cooking is hands-on: slice, season, fry, bake, grill, boil, and plate dishes with professional equipment, while controlling temperature and timing. Players can follow collected recipes or use the Blueprint system to modify them, test ingredients, and save original creations. Progression adds skills, perks, and more advanced techniques, while culinary challenges offer another goal beyond running a successful service.
The game supports solo play as well as optional online co-op, where friends can divide kitchen responsibilities and coordinate during rushes. Sandbox Mode provides a less structured space to experiment, and the apartment offers room to practice recipes or techniques between services.
