Commandos 2 - HD Remaster places an elite team behind enemy lines during World War II, with a series of demanding missions set in environments based on authentic locations. The nine commandos bring distinct specialties, including a green beret, sniper, demolition expert, diver, seductress and thief. Their options extend beyond combat: characters can steal uniforms and weapons, climb poles, swing from cables, swim and use vehicles. The remaster also reworks the controls, interface and tutorial, while its 3D presentation supports rotating the view and moving in and out of buildings, submarines, planes and underwater spaces.
The documented campaign spans ten missions across nine environments, with day-and-night settings and realistic weather effects. That structure gives the game its distinctive rhythm: study a hostile setting, make use of the team’s varied skills and find a way through each mission against the odds.
