In Clockwork Cleanup, goo creatures overrun a spell factory, and you guide MAC, a Magical Automatic Custodian, through the mess. The game frames each run as a sequence of five waves, with a boss fight at the end of every wave. After fights, rewards let you build up a spell arsenal, giving the factory’s cleanup crisis a strategic, spell-making focus.
Its auto-battler combat is shaped by a hands-on grid puzzle: spell tiles determine MAC’s actions, while elemental sources around the grid’s edge supply their power. Pipes and splitters route energy inward, and spells that need several elements can crowd a limited layout. Modifier tiles add another layer, changing how spells behave and making combinations part of the build. Between fights, the workshop offers opportunities to reshape tiles and the grid, fuse elements, adjust connectors, or recover resources. The documented design lists 35 fights across five waves, alongside a range of spell, modifier, and routing tiles.
That combination makes Clockwork Cleanup more than a sequence of automated battles: success depends on balancing offense, defense, and energy flow in a compact space.
