Click to Civ puts an unusual science-fiction premise inside an incremental strategy game: an alien ship has crashed on prehistoric Earth, and its stranded survivors need civilization to develop before they can return to the stars. The setting pairs Stone Age surroundings with a long-term goal of interstellar flight, giving the familiar climb of a clicker a narrative direction.
Progress starts with exploring caves and striking rocks for badge fragments. Badges placed in the hometown raise their level and increase the village’s passive gold production; clicking them also collects gold immediately. Chests supply items that can alter a run’s strategy, while technology eventually automates cave mining. That progression shifts the focus from repeated manual input toward overseeing a growing system, rather than leaving clicking as the only way to advance.
Its defining loop is personal progression: gather badges, build up the hometown, discover items, and develop automation while guiding humanity’s first steps toward a starship.
