City Transport Simulator 2025 is a bus and tram simulation that combines driving licensed real-world vehicles with managing a public transport company. This 2025 Content Edition includes the base game, bus and tram modules, and a collection of vehicle, map and cosmetic DLC. Its European-inspired city provides the setting for both hands-on operation and planning a growing network.
Players can lay out bus and tram routes by selecting stations, then configure service intervals, pauses, operating times and vehicle density with the timetable generator. Assign vehicles to lines and AI services run to schedule alongside the player’s driving. Career mode connects punctual operation and passenger satisfaction with XP, resources, new lines, vehicles and upgrades. Sandbox offers a more open alternative, with premade lines or the option to build routes and choose a vehicle.
The simulation focuses on vehicle operation, with modeled cockpit controls, realistic physics, engine and ambient sounds, and guidance for starting and operating vehicles. Its network covers more than 50 kilometers and 80 stations, connecting city centers, suburbs and old towns across a day-and-night cycle with changing passenger volumes. Company and route customization includes names, liveries, logos and station styles, so the service can carry a coherent identity. This edition does not grant access to City Transport Simulator 2026.
