Century: Age of Ashes casts players as dragon-riding Dragoneers battling for control of the skies. Its arena matches center on aerial combat, with distinct classes shaping how riders approach a clash: Windguards shield and disorient, Marauders track and destroy, and Phantoms use stealth and traps. Stormraisers and Thornweavers add their own ways to pressure opponents, giving team composition a tactical role beyond simply choosing a dragon’s appearance.
Its modes offer markedly different objectives. Carnage is a team deathmatch built around power-ups, while Gates of Fire asks teams to seize a flag and fly through gates to score. Spoils of War mixes theft and defense around gold and each team’s nest; Survival strips away alliances in a free-for-all. Outbreak changes the format to cooperative PvE, as players defend the towers of Hel’s Breach from waves of enemies. This range makes the game’s multiplayer identity more specific than a single arena-battle label suggests.
Customization is cosmetic rather than a source of combat advantage: experience unlocks skins for dragons and riders, and purchases are described as cosmetic as well.
