Carcassonne - Tiles & Tactics brings the classic landscape-building board game into a 3D presentation. Players draw tiles depicting features such as cities, roads, cloisters and grassland, then place each one beside the existing landscape. Matching edges matter: cities connect to cities and roads to roads, so each placement shapes the map and the opportunities ahead.
After placing a tile, a player may assign a follower, or Meeple, to one of its areas. Followers take roles such as knight, robber, monk or farmer, and score when their area is completed. The central tension is whether to commit a limited follower to a promising feature or use a tile to extend a city, road or rival’s plans. Because turns involve a single tile and an optional follower, choices arrive quickly while the shared landscape keeps changing from game to game.
This edition adds a 3D landscape and strategic information beyond the physical game: a field view shows who controls each field, while a remaining-tile list reveals what is left in the draw pile. Its listed features also include five expansions, the free Abbot expansion, solo play, same-device Pass & Play and online multiplayer with public, private and ranked games. These options give the familiar contest over connected terrain several ways to take shape on screen.
