Caravanners is a relaxed exploration and life-adventure game about making a home on the road. Starting with a small truck and an empty caravan, players can travel through a large world of forests, islands, villages, mountains, and other landscapes, then choose where to settle for a while. Its appeal lies in treating the caravan not just as transport but as a customizable living space and a base for outdoor downtime.
Daily routines give the trip a practical edge: hunger, thirst, sleep, toilet needs, fuel, food, money, and reputation all factor into resource management. Players can earn money through jobs, furnish and decorate their caravan’s interior, and alter its exterior with paint, wheels, bumpers, and accessories. At a chosen spot, modular campsite parts let players arrange furniture and awnings, light a campfire, cook, and play music. Weather and a day-night cycle give those stops changing conditions and atmosphere.
Caravanners supports solo play as well as cooperative outings for up to four players, with friends able to travel together in a convoy of separate caravans. The design emphasizes unhurried travel and personal routines over a fixed itinerary: a lake, forest, or other location can become a campsite, while cooking, furnishing, and simply spending time around camp shape the adventure. It is currently identified as an early-access alpha, so its present experience is described as unpolished; the core concept is a flexible camping sandbox built around exploration, resource care, and making a caravan feel like home.
