Capcom Fighting Collection 2 brings together eight fighting games, pairing familiar head-to-head combat with distinct settings and formats. Its lineup ranges from Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 and Project Justice to the 3D action of Power Stone and Power Stone 2. That breadth gives the collection its character: it is an anthology of classic fighters, not a single game built around one roster or style.
Play options span ranked battles, casual matches, private lobbies, co-op and spectating. The collection also supports online play and rollback netcode, while High Score Challenge mode adds a leaderboard-focused alternative to fighting other players. For newcomers, adjustable difficulty, One Button Specials and training modes offer ways to approach the games; artwork, development documents and a large music library add historical context beyond the matches.
It does not describe one uniform match format: players can choose a rival, team up, spectate or pursue high scores, depending on the mode that interests them.
