Build Master: MarsVille is a strategy and simulation game set in a future where dwindling resources on Earth have driven humanity to Mars. Players begin with an untouched landscape and shape a growing colony, choosing where to place buildings and how to support urban development. The premise makes planning consequential: construction is tied to resource production, citizen needs, and the settlement’s expansion.
Its design brings several kinds of management together. Players gather resources from Martian terrain, use them to construct and upgrade the city, and make financial choices involving the colony, its military, and its heroes. Those heroes have distinct abilities and can defend against extraterrestrial pirates and sandworms. Bridge-building adds a more hands-on engineering challenge, with levels asking players to create structures that can bear a weight test; failed designs can collapse, prompting another attempt.
The multiplayer format extends colony management beyond an individual settlement. The game lists online co-op and PvP, alongside resource trading and cooperation against shared threats, while rival colonies provide another reason to compete for resources.
