In Brotato, a spaceship crashes on an alien planet, leaving Brotato, the sole survivor from Potato World, stranded among hostile aliens. This potato can handle six weapons at once, and each run turns survival into a fast-paced fight to hold out until rescue arrives.
Combat fires automatically by default, though players can switch to manual aiming. Across waves that last 20 to 90 seconds, Brotato fights aliens and gathers materials to gain experience. Between waves, a shop offers items, while a broad selection of characters and weapons lets players shape each run. The choices range from flamethrowers and rocket launchers to sticks and stones, with characters including a mage, a lucky potato and a one-handed fighter. Runs are designed to take under 30 minutes, keeping the focus on making decisions and surviving the next wave.
Its customizable difficulty adds another layer, letting players adjust enemy health, damage and speed. The result is a compact arena-survival format built around repeated waves, adaptable combat and the scramble to outlast an alien onslaught.
