Brick Rigs is a vehicle-building sandbox where players can take on roles such as firefighter, pilot, or police officer, or simply invent their own way to play. Its central draw is an editor for creating vehicles, machines, creatures, and buildings, with detailed models and functional mechanics. You can test a creation directly in the game, turning construction into an experiment rather than a separate design exercise.
Building is only half the appeal. Dynamic destruction physics make crashes a spectacle, and players can also borrow creations from the Steam Workshop, whose offerings range from minivans to transport planes and skyscrapers. That mix of custom design, ready-made builds, and destructible creations gives Brick Rigs its own hands-on rhythm: make something, put it through its paces, and see what happens when it breaks.
The game supports solo play as well as multiplayer, with community-made ways to play that include roleplay servers, high-speed chases, and large-scale chaos.
