Brainwashing Academy - The Cursed Person's Pot casts the player as an amnesiac who returns to an old school under the guidance of Masamitsu Kanae. A deal with her uncle has left the protagonist with a powerful brainwashing curse, turning the academy into the setting for a struggle over its established order. The story’s central tension is whether to exploit that power or investigate the mystery behind it.
The game pairs branching narrative choices with strategic, turn-based play. Rather than taking part directly in most scenes, the protagonist acts as a mastermind, commanding brainwashed students in battles. Dungeon conquests unlock commands tied to particular locations, giving progression a tactical purpose beyond combat. Puzzle-solving, character development, varied skills, multiple endings, and story branches round out the RPG design.
Its two routes give the choices distinct narrative directions: Collapse pursues violent, total destruction of the academy, while Truth offers gentler corruption alongside an effort to uncover the curse’s secrets with Kanae.
