Bloons Monkey City makes territory itself part of the strategy. Starting from a modest settlement, players push back invading bloons by attacking infested land next to their city. Each victory in a short tower-defense game adds that tile to the settlement, turning expansion into a steady cycle of combat and construction.
Buildings shape both the city and its defenses: players can place monkey towers, improve them, develop farms and banks, and add power structures or decorations. The game also offers wilderness exploration for treasure tiles and special items, alongside a range of tower-defense maps and challenging special missions. Captured space is therefore more than a backdrop; it creates room for the buildings and options that feed into later play.
That mix gives the game a broader rhythm than a standalone sequence of defense levels. Friends can exchange Supply Crates and visit one another’s cities, while weekly Contested Territory events and player-versus-player bloon attacks add competitive formats.
