Blood: Fresh Supply casts the player against Tchernobog, an evil force guarded by cultists and a grotesque bestiary that includes zombies, gargoyles and hellhounds. Its horror setting is built around a journey through 42 levels, with an atmosphere the game describes as Lovecraftian. The campaign’s weapon progression starts with a pitchfork and expands to oddball tools of destruction such as aerosol cans, flare guns and voodoo dolls.
That arsenal gives the action its distinctive flavor: familiar combat sits alongside weapons that feel drawn from the game’s macabre world. Fresh Supply also presents the original Blood together with the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage add-ons. Its updated KEX Engine release supports high resolutions and unlocked framerates, while retaining the option to use a classic BUILD-engine-style view or look fully up and down in a new 3D view.
Beyond solo play, the game supports online co-op, competitive Bloodbath and team-based Capture The Flag, as well as local split-screen action. Its mix of a grim campaign, unconventional weapons and multiplayer options defines the experience more clearly than any count alone.
