In Blightbound, a corrupting fog spreads across a world left vulnerable after the Shadow Titan’s defeat. Three heroes venture from a mountain refuge into handcrafted dungeons, confronting creatures changed by the Blight and seeking to recover fallen heroes. That setup gives the crawl a clear purpose: each expedition pushes back into hostile territory while expanding the group of warriors available to take on it.
Team composition shapes the action. Warrior, assassin, and mage have distinct jobs, from blocking damage to interrupting enemies and healing allies, and their role-specific play charges powerful ultimate abilities. The game also mixes combat with puzzles and colossal boss encounters, while loot and crafting let players improve heroes and alter their attacks and abilities. Between expeditions, the refuge can grow through recruited artisans who craft items, fulfill bounties, and train heroes.
Blightbound is listed with single-player and multiplayer options, including online and shared-screen co-op. The setting spans three distinct lands, with dungeons in Gravemark, Underhold, and Blood Ridge, combining hand-painted characters with real-time 3D models and lighting effects.
