Blair Witch turns the series’ folklore into a personal search-and-rescue story. You play as Ellis, a former police officer looking for a missing boy in the Black Hills Forest, with his dog Bullet for company. The woods are more than a backdrop: they twist memories and warp time, while a presence watches from beyond the trees. Along the way, the story brings Ellis’s troubled past into the mystery.
Investigation and survival share the focus. Ellis can use a camera, cell phone, and flashlight while searching for clues and confronting supernatural dangers. The forest shifts around him, and the game ties what he ultimately learns about himself to how he reacts when in peril. Bullet adds a practical and emotional thread to the journey: you can pet him or offer treats, while how you treat him directly affects the story. These choices give the search a relationship to manage as well as a mystery to solve.
The listed format is single-player, so this is a solitary, story-led horror adventure rather than a shared session built around concurrent players.
