Bladesong places you in the role of Eren Keep’s swordsmith, working in a ruined world where the Masked King rules and whispers of rebellion stir. Customers bring commissions for blades with particular qualities, while the former blacksmith’s disappearance hangs over the job. The setting gives each order a place in the keep’s wider struggle, connecting craft to the people and factions seeking a future there.
Swordmaking is the central activity: freeform shaping and modular construction let players customize blades with different parts, materials, and engravings. Commissions ask the smith to meet customer requirements, making precision and balance part of the work. Campaign Mode expands a collection of sword parts, while hired characters and visits to locations around Eren Keep bring other residents and their stories into view. The emphasis is on designing and fulfilling orders, rather than treating swords only as equipment for combat.
Creative Mode offers a swordmaking sandbox for forging without limits, and Magic Words provide a way to share creations with the community. Together, these formats pair a structured craft-and-story premise with open-ended design and community exchange, while keeping sword creation at the center of the experience.
