Blade Symphony is a competitive sword-fighting game centered on proving skill through tactical duels. Its combat is designed around attacks that expose openings in real time, so timing, aim and choice of stance matter more than collecting combat advantages. The premise is direct: read an opponent’s move, position your own attack carefully, and find the moment to strike.
Players choose among distinct character styles and pair a fighter with a sword type, changing the approach to combat. The game describes four characters, each with four stances and more than forty attacks; switching stances mid-combo can link moves into a flurry. Sword options include the hard-hitting longsword, the thrust-focused rapier and the combo-friendly jian. Attacks and parries meet in three-dimensional space, while dashes, jumps, air attacks and rolls add movement to the exchanges. Unlockables are cosmetic rather than combat advantages.
The format ranges from individual confrontations to team play: Blade Symphony lists tactical duels, two-versus-two team duels, sandbox free-for-all and Control Points. Character customization adds another layer, with skins, masks, swords and attachments supported through Steam Workshop.
