Blade & Soul NEO frames its action RPG adventure around a personal pursuit: track down the villains who killed your master while uncovering secrets and developing into a martial arts master. Its setting spans forests, deserts, villages, and wildlands, with exploration designed to be more than travel between fights. Windwalk has no stamina bar, and lets players scale walls, soar over mountains, and run across water.
Combat pairs the series’ action-based martial arts with a choice between Classic and “B&S” combat modes. Players can customize their class through skill extraction, while dungeons demand that they learn opponents’ attack strategies and work with allies. The game supports solo dungeon exploration as well as party matching for groups of up to five other players, giving its encounters both individual and cooperative contexts.
The count therefore sits alongside several kinds of activity, from roaming the Earthen Realm to tackling dungeons with a party, rather than describing a single combat format.
