Beer Factory is a business simulation about building and managing a beer-making operation. Its central challenge is coordinating the work behind each order, from bringing raw materials into the facility to preparing finished beer for customers. Rather than treating brewing as an isolated activity, the game frames it as one part of a larger production and logistics business.
That workflow spans storing ingredients, refining them, brewing in tanks, holding the beer, bottling it and arranging delivery. Employees can take on many factory jobs, but the player assigns their duties and monitors their progress. Machinery also matters: investment in equipment opens opportunities to improve and make fuller use of it, while factory expansion supports business growth. The design therefore combines production planning with staff direction and decisions about where to put money.
Its single-player format gives the player responsibility for steering that operation, while the stated economic model attaches costs to activities such as hiring and transportation, as well as taxes.
